About Me

Throughout my academic and professional career, I have specialized in finding a problem, researching it for a deep understanding, and then developing a robust solution. Sometimes that means rethinking cloud architecture, sometimes that means building a dashboard with notifications to keep an eye on the issue, or building tests so the mistake can't be made again. In school I studied linguistics and the biological and societal underpinnings of interpersonal dynamics, and considered how we can better meet people’s needs. At Zpaper, I overhauled a server analytics tool using Go, Metabase, MySQL and AWS Lambda to take query responses minutes to seconds by running calculations ahead of time and saving them to a database.

A cloud architecture or backend development position would be ideal: I am particularly interested in scaling and building reliable infrastructure, as well as analyzing and visualizing data to get better insight into business needs. I use notetaking apps for organizing my thoughts and I enjoy whiteboard out problems and developing action plans. I value being a consistent and dependable team member, and work systematically and efficiently to deliver quality results on time.

I am also open to consulting or freelancing for Salesforce and Cloud Services (My background is AWS). There are often ripe opportunities for streamlining and cost savings with these platforms, and a fresh set of eyes can be incredibly helpful. I’ve worked in internal data pipelines, ETL, analytics dashboards, and service based architecture.
